Farida Sultan is the Director of Sultan Gallery, and the founding member of Bayan Bi-Lingual School and Al-Sadu House. She taught English as a Foreign Language at Al-Jazaer School in Shamiya, and was assistant professor in the Department of English Literature at Kuwait University, Shuwaikh and Khaldiya campuses. In 2013 she served on the Advisory Board of the National Council for Arts and letters in its first participation in the Venice Biennale 2013. In 2013 she received the First Kuwait Arab Woman Awards, in the arts category, and in 2014 she received the KDIPA award for the Logo Competition.
