As part of honoring individuals and institutions that have contributed in the cultural field, The Chinese Embassy in Kuwait awarded Dar al-Athar al-Islamiyyah (DAI) the “China-Kuwait Friendship Award”. On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of Kuwait-China relations, the ceremony recalled the career and role of the founder of (DAI) Sheikh Nasser Sabah al-Ahmad al-Sabah and his wife, Sheikha Hussa Sabah al-Salem al-Sabah – Director General of (DAI) as ambassadors of cultural diplomacy. The ceremony highlighted their role in promoting cultural exchange between Kuwait and China decades ago.
The award was received on behalf of Dar al-Athar al-Islamiyyah by Aljazi Alsenafi – Media officer at (DAI).
