Organized by Sharjah Museum Authority (SMA), the exhibition Ziena Splendor of the Indian Courtswas inaugurated on October 25, 2023. Ziena, which fosters intellectual exchange and interinstitutional collaboration, is the culmination of the efforts of SMA and al-Sabah Collection, Dar al-Athar al-Islamiyah. Late Sheikh Nasser Sabah al-Ahmad Al-Sabah’s love for art, culture, and preserving Islamic aesthetics made possible the display of this unique exhibition at the Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilization. On display are 84 objects, including jeweled daggers and knives, ornate domes and shield adornments, and carved boxes and vessels dating back to the 17th century. The exhibition is open to visitors until April 14, 2024.
